If you are using your own machine it must conform to all current legislation and be in good working order.
A current MOT certificate (if appropriate) and insurance certificate will need to be produced before training can commence
All students will be asked to satisfy a basic test of visual ability by the trainer to ensure they achieve legal criteria for driving before training can commence. |

Compulsory Basic Training
(CBT)
(One day course available Mon- Sat)
This is a compulsory requirement for all motorcycle riders before they can ride on a public highway. It is designed to ensure that the riders have the ability to ride to a minimum standard of safety and competence
The days' training includes advice on all aspects of training, basic motorcycle maintenance and safety checks, learning riding skills on our spacious uncluttered off-road CBT sites and
at least 2 hours
of on-road training which is the minimum required by the Driving Standard Agency to comply with CBT legislation.
If you fail to reach the required standard for a CBT pass in one day we will extend your training free of charge

125/A2 courses
(2-6 day courses)
After successful completion of CBT the Road Rider Course enables motorcyclists to gain the necessary experience and confidence to tackle today's busy road and prepare them for the DSA L-Test.
All aspects of road riding are covered including: Defensive riding techniques,Road postioning, Cornering, Bike control braking Theory test preparation (Books/CD ROMS) available

Direct Access Scheme
(DAS)
(3-5 Day courses)
This option is available for riders over 21 years of age and for those who have passed their A2 test and have reached the age of 21 before their 2 year qualifying period is complete.
Following initial assessment and familiarisation on a 125cc motorcycle, training is undertaken on our 500cc motorcycles.
The A test must be taken on a motorcycle with an output of at least 35Kw/46.6Bhp.
Our DAS preparation course includes accompaniment to and from test.

Advanced Course
(1-3 day course)
The Advanced Course is intended for full licence holders wanting to improve their riding and may last 1-3 days depending on the riders aims.
We have undertaken these courses both in the UK and France.
There is no upper limit to the size of the motorcycle used but 250cc or larger is recommended.

Refresher Course
(1 day course)
Intended for a rider in possession of a full licence who needs a skills update e.g after a break from motorcycling for a while or at the time of changing to a larger/ different style of motorcycle.
The course will enable the rider to review and revise their existing skills and build on their ability to meet the challenges of today's busy roads safely and with confidence.
A motorcycle can be provided if appropriate.
